Formed by its current directors, Ed Sturgess and Simon Smith, as an energy efficiency-derived electrical contracts business, the company has grown to encompass solar photovoltaic panels (PV), solar thermal water heating, heat exchangers and LED lighting.

The electrical contracting capability of 247 Power evolved from Amber Electrics, a trusted contracting company also established by Simon Smith and well-known locally for its high-end electrical installation projects. Amber Electrics had already moved into renewables and had completed in excess of 200 solar PV installations as a subcontracting firm, and 247 Power has been able to utilise all this existing knowledge, experience and training to form a company that encompasses all aspects of design, supply and installation of solar PV on any scale.

The company has grown since its formation and now employs a full time electrical team and a roofer specialising in solar PV and solar thermal installations, as well as ‘back office’ staff to ensure the smooth handling of every project.

With an ethos of quality installations based on a solid foundation of reliable and honest advice, 247 Power has rapidly grown a loyal customer base which regularly refers new clients to us.
